A Walking Tour’s Meeting Instructions
Every Saturday morning, Bright Steps Walks meets outside the Green Station ticket office at 9:15 a.m. The guide, Maria, wears a blue cap and carries a small flag so people can find her. Please arrive five minutes early. If you are late, the group may start without you. Bring comfortable shoes, a bottle of water, and a small umbrella if the sky is cloudy. The first part of the tour is easy, but there are two steep streets near the old bridge. After we meet, we walk for about two hours. We stop at the river steps for photos and then at Market Square for a short break. You can buy a snack there, but lunch is not included in the ticket. At the end, Maria gives a map with café ideas. If you need help, send a message before 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The walk is friendly, but it is not suitable for bicycles or strollers.

What to review next
Find the words that support each answer. For a mistake, compare the question with the evidence and identify the detail or inference you missed.
A focused practice result shows how you did on these tasks. Use several activities across skills to decide what to study next; one practice score does not certify an overall CEFR level.
Before you practise: a worked example
Look for evidence in the text. Separate what the writer says from what you already know about the topic.
The library normally closes at six, but on Fridays it stays open until eight. When does it close on Friday?
The answer is eight. But introduces an exception to the normal closing time, so the first time mentioned is not the answer.
This teaching example is separate from the scored questions. After your test, compare any mistakes with the explanation and revisit the topic before trying again.
